Greenwich Beach, PEI National Park

At breakfast we said goodbye to the North Carolinians,

and we met our first fellow walker, Karen from Calgary.  We had seen her walking determinedly up some hills on our third day while we languished in the shade. Apparently that was her first day walking and like us she was regretting her 20 to 25 km/day schedule.

Today was a scheduled  rest day.   After breakfast Rodger drove us up to Greenwich Beach, part of the PEI National Park, and we walked the boardwalk across the dunes

and out to the beach where we walked for a couple of hours.

Patty got to meet a puppy.

On our way back it started to rain so we phoned for a ride. By the time Rodger arrived it had stopped raining.

Today we got upgraded to a loft suite with a full kitchen and a living room.  It was very luxurious and much more than we needed.

Another beautiful sunset over St. Peter's Bay.
