Mount Lemmon

We had a great driving up Mount Lemmon and stopping at all the Vista points and picnic sites.

At Summerhaven at the top of the mountain we stopped to check out the shops and take a touristy photo.

Here we saw Stellars jays , yellow-eyed juncos and acorn woodpeckers at a feeder.

On the way down we had lunch at Windy Point Vista, a popular and spectacular spot.

Bird of the Day:

Yellow-eyed Junco, seen only at high elevations in southern Arizona and Mexico.
